I've tried to find out more about this record and Clyde Pitts but I have never had any success. Mister Me has a country bopper rock sound and Heartbroken is some killer rockabilly that should be on a compilation if it isn't already. Click here to listen.

Singing Canaries - Cielito Lindo / La Golondrina
According to the back of the sleeve: a record issued by Custom called "Training Your Parakeet To Talk" became a hit and sales boomed. Apparently this resulted in many requests for a record with singing canaries. It's an interesting record but I just can't imagine that too many people would have actually requested it. The Kidoodlers - They Cut Down The Old Pine Tree / Down In The Valley
I bought this 78 because I had never seen the Comet label before and thought this might be interesting. Both songs are Americana/folk/country, definately at least one of those plus some nice pedal steel guitar on both songs. Click here to listen.

Vaclav Neckar - Papagallo Baby / Svet
Here is another single from Vaclav Neckar with that cool 60s Czech sound. I like the songs on here a little less than the previous single I posted, the A-side is best. Click here to listen.

Vaclav Neckar - Nautilus / Specham (No Time)
Released in 1969, I think this is the best picture sleeve out of all my Czechoslovakian 45s plus the music is among the best. The A-side, Nautilus is instrumentally a pretty amazing song that really makes me wish I could understand the lyrics. The B-side is a pretty cool tune and I found a music video. Click here to listen.

Stanislav Hranicky with Ivo Pavlika & Majestic - Rok S Monikou / Ty Dobre Vis
This is 1 of a few really cool late 60s Czechoslovakian 45s that I aquired a couple days ago. The A-side is a cover of In The Summertime sung in Czech! The B-side is pretty darn good too. If anyone else likes this let me know with a comment and I will post some of the other ones that I have. Click here to listen.

The Statesmen - Roo-Buh-Doo-Buh-Doo / Teen Theme
Here's a really cool surf rock 45 from the box of 5 cent 45s I found yesterday. Both tracks are really good on this one and have appeared on compilations in the past. Click here to listen.

Spectrum - Lost In A Melody / Avanita Planeta / Let It Go
Here is an intriguing 3 song EP from Cleveland, OH with an interesting sound that must be late 70s or early 80s. I have not found any info on this group or Terra Tu Records. Lost In A Melody is just okay, the next track is better but Let It Go is the most interesting track on this obscurity. Click here to listen.
Tommy DeNoble - Don't Procrastinate With Me Baby / I Wanta Go With You
Found a couple boxes of 45s at a garage sale today loaded with all sorts of oddities including this one. Don't Procrastinate With Me Baby is a cool early rock track with fun lyrics, the B-side is less rockin but still has a nice sound as well. Click here to listen.

Chuck Holden - The Cave / My Lost Melody
Unique Records lives up to it's name on this release. I've never heard anything quite like this before. The Cave is fantastic, My Lost Melody is decent but not quite as good as the A-side. Can't find any info about this record or Chuck. Click here to listen.
